En phonétique, nous avons appris les sons in, im et eu !

Les élèves de 1re et de 2e année ont travaillé en écriture sur l’invention d’un nouveau moyen de transport à l’aide de matériel recyclé. Ils ont été très investis dans leurs projets, et c’est formidable de voir toutes leurs idées créatives prendre vie ! Nous commençons maintenant à rédiger la description des inventions qu’ils ont créées.

En lecture, nous avons découvert différents véhicules du passé afin de les comparer aux moyens de transport du présent et d’imaginer ceux du futur. Nous avons également commencé à lire de courts textes portant sur les transports.

En enquête, nous apprenons à nous situer dans le monde en explorant notre rue, notre ville, notre État et notre pays.

English – Year 1/2 French

In phonics, we have been learning the sounds in, im and eu!

Year 1 and 2 students have been working on inventing a new mode of transport using recycled materials in writing. They are very invested in their projects, and it has been wonderful to see their creative ideas! We have now started writing about the features and properties of the inventions they have created.

In reading, we have explored vehicles from the past to compare them with vehicles from the present and the future. We have also started reading short texts about transport.

In inquiry, we are learning how to locate ourselves in the world by exploring our street, our city, our state and our country.
