Exploring Noun Town and Adjective Alley in Grade 1/2A

Students in Grade 1/2A have been busy building their writing skills through two creative projects: Noun Town and Adjective Alley.

To begin, we focused on nouns. Working together, students designed their very own town filled with important places such as a school, hospital, park, and town hall. This hands‑on activity helped them identify and use nouns in meaningful ways.

We then moved on to adjectives. Students loved creating imaginative monsters and using descriptive words to bring their characters to life for Adjective Alley. This encouraged them to experiment with rich vocabulary and expressive language.

It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explore new ways to make their writing more detailed and engaging.
