Cross Country Running Finale

The 2026 SSV Cross Country Running season has come to an end. We had 4 students qualify for the State Championships, due to their fantastic finishing places at the Hume Region Championship. A range of things meant that not all students could make it to Melbourne for the State level race. However, we were lucky that Emily could get there to represent our small school. State level running is intimidating and fast, and we are proud of Emily for getting in amongst it. Congratulations on your race, Emily. 

We have also received news that Eddy Franzke competed in the All Schools Cross Country Championships run by Athletics Victoria. Representing Mount Beauty Secondary College, he won his 6km race by 1 second! Well done Eddy!

Mid-Year Awards

It was great to see so many people attending our Mid-Year Awards Ceremony at the end of Term 2. Congratulations to those who received acknowledgement of their attendance, strong work, or ability to uphold the school values. There is still time to keep improving these qualities to be in the running for an award at the end of the year.
