Senior School Subjects

After the Senior School Subject Expo last Tuesday, students have been having Subject Selection meetings with Jo Macklan. This is where they think about their post-schooling options, and finalise their subject preferences for next year. Once our Year 10 and 11 students have completed this process, we take their preferences and work out which subjects will go ahead, and when they will be timetabled. The reality is that not all subjects offered will be able to run, however we prioritise our senior students’ choices to ensure they can access what they will need for their future pathways.

Unlike other schools, we let our students dictate what senior subjects run at school, rather than making them choose from a list of subjects determined by the school.

Downhill Snowsports Program

Thanks to Vicky Levesque for all her planning, and to the staff and family volunteers that went on the first downhill day this week, making the start to the program a success. The weather was perfect and everything ran smoothly, including the lift tickets all working properly first go!

There will be a break in the Downhill program next week, due to the Australian Secondary Schools Ski Team Competition (ASSSTC). The Downhill skiing program will resume in Week 4, on Monday 3rd August.

2025 Annual Report to the School Community

Thanks to those that attended the presentation of the 2025 Annual Report. This report provides some information and data from the 2025 school year, commentary based on the data and then strategies that are being implemented or worked on this year, often to help address the data.

The report can be found on the school website, collected from the office in hard copy, and a copy will be emailed to all families this week.

Save the Date - End of Year Awards

Make sure you save this date in your diary – our end of year Awards Ceremony will be held at school on Wednesday 16th December from 10am.

We hope to celebrate as a whole school, so this will replace the traditional evening event. We'd like everyone to attend, and not just those who are receiving an award.

Students in Years 10 – 12 will have officially finished school by this date (as is always the case), but we hope that these students will be able to attend the event. Invitations will go out to these students in the near future.
