German Exchange

Welcome to Our Sister School Exchange!

On Friday 13th February, we are excited to welcome our sister school students from Germany, who will be joining us for three weeks of learning, sharing and unforgettable experiences.

During their stay, our visitors will become part of everyday life at our school — attending classes, exploring our local area and immersing themselves in Australian culture — all while building strong connections with their host families. This exchange is about far more than travel; it’s about friendships, understanding different perspectives and learning how the world looks through someone else’s eyes.

This program has been running for almost 30 years, making it a proud and long-standing tradition within our school community. It is always special to see how quickly students form bonds, discover common interests and grow in confidence as they step outside their comfort zones. Our own students had the privilege of visiting Germany in September/October last year and we are thrilled to now return the hospitality.

Hosting an exchange reminds us why learning another language matters. It opens doors, breaks down barriers and helps young people develop the skills needed to be thoughtful, respectful global citizens.
