Bus Travellers to Alfredton, Lucas & Cardigan Village

Public Transport Victoria (PTV) operate certain buses to transport our students to and from school.

PTV regularly monitor overcrowding, travel patterns and usage of MYKI passes. Issues of non-compliance are often noted and investigated.

BHS has been asked to remind all parents/students of the following:

• Travellers must tap on and tap off each journey with a valid MYKI Card/Pass (Youth MYKI trips are free, but must be recorded).

• For students not eligible for a Youth MYKI, a BHS Student ID Card confirms your status as a student.

• Afternoon bus options for Alfredton residents:

  • CDC Route 10 – travels along Sturt Street until Dyson Drive

  • CDC Route 26 – travels along Cuthberts Rd until Dyson Drive

• Afternoon bus option for Lucas and Cardigan Village residents:

  • CDC Cardigan Village Route

• Alfredton residents are NOT to utilise the Cardigan Village bus – this causes overcrowding and some students unable to travel home, as no other bus alternative is available.
