Kindergarten Places Available for 2025 & 2026

3 Days of FREE Kindergarten in 2026

From 2026, children eligible for Pre-Prep will be able to access 22.5 hours (3 days) per week of Free Kindergarten.

To be eligible for Pre-Prep in 2026, your child must meet one of the following criteria:

Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander child
Be from a refugee or asylum seeker background
Have had contact with Child Protection services
Be attending 4YO kindergarten in 2026

Holiday Program

Our popular Holiday Program is running in the Term 2 holidays, and limited places are still available!

Open to: All children aged 3–5 who live locally - children do not need to be currently enrolled in a Glen Education service.

Led by qualified educators, our Holiday Program is safe, inclusive, and engaging - offering a diverse range of activities including:

Arts & crafts
Sports
Music & movement
Environmental learning
Cooking experiences

We’re also excited to welcome back:

Nerida from Yoga-Go-Go

They will lead sessions focused on movement, mindfulness, and developing coordination skills.

If your child is currently attending Glen Education 3-year-old kindergarten in 2025, you do not need to register for 2026. Your local Council will contact you to confirm your child's 2026 place - please respond promptly to their communication.

Staff and children who are unwell - reminders for families

If staff or children are unwell, they are required to stay at home, unless those symptoms are known to be caused by an underlying health condition or medication.

Children and staff who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, however mild, should also undertake a RAT test and notify us of any positive result.

As influenza and colds are becoming more prevalent, even with a negative result, children and staff should avoid kindergarten until their symptoms resolve and they are well again.
