Grade 4 Hoop Time

Last Wednesday, September 10th, 51 of our Grade 4 students represented the school at Junior Hoop Time which was held at Dandenong Stadium. 

Seven teams competed across the All Stars, Future Stars and Rookies competitions, giving every student the chance to experience a full day of exciting, round-robin basketball. The teams displayed great skills and determination, whether it was their first tournament or they were seasoned players.

Throughout the day, our students impressed with their teamwork, sportsmanship and positive attitude. It was wonderful to see them encouraging one another and celebrating each team’s efforts. 

A big thank you to the parents and staff who support the students and congratulations to all our players for representing our school with pride.

Division Athletics

On Wednesday, September 17th, 14 Grade 4–6 students represented Berwick Chase Primary School at the Casey North Division Athletics, held at the Casey Fields Regional Athletics Centre. 

Congratulations to the students who finished 2nd or 3rd in their events and have now qualified for the Southern Metro Region Athletics Carnival in Term 4. 

We are incredibly proud of all our students for their effort and determination and for displaying outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day.
