HANDS ON LEARNING

This term Hands On Learning has been a great success! We have painted our shipping container, built a HoL sign and hung it on our brand new fence and painted a chalkboard in the Outdoor Oasis space for student to use at break times.
Mr Corcoran has also been busy behind the scenes lining the inside of the shipping container and getting it ready to be our permanent home.
The students in the program have worked well together, learning how to use "old timey" tools before being able to have a go with some power tools.
Thank you to all those that have made a donation to the program. We have had a variety of hand tools and gardening tools donated that will be put to good use. If you would still like to donate but not sure how, below are some items that you could throw in your basket next time you visit Bunnings.
- Timber Screws - any length from 30mm - 90mm
- Wood Glue
- PH2 or Hex Head drill bits
If you have other items that you think might be of use, please get in contact with Mr Holden or leave a message with the school office and we will get back to you.
