In our Year 5 and 6 sports classes, the students have been learning about the game of Lawn Bowls. From these sessions, three teams (a team consists of 6 players) have been selected to represent our school at the upcoming Colac Division Lawn Bowls Championships, which will take place this Thursday 27th August at the Lake Bowling Club. The selected students will need to wear their sports uniform, bring along their hat, drink bottle, fruit, snacks and lunch. The bus will leave Sacred Heart at 9:00am and return at 1:40pm. We do need parents to assist on the day, so if you can help can you please indicate on PAM.

Sacred Heart Netball Club

Congratulations to all our students who participated in the Friday night netball competition at Eastern Reserve throughout winter. We had a number of teams make the finals, with three Sacred Heart teams competing in Grand Finals last Friday night. A huge congratulations to our Year 6 Stingrays, who won their Grand Final by one goal, and our Year 4/5 Squids, who secured a fantastic three-goal victory. Our other Year 4/5 team, the Shrimps, narrowly missed out, going down by just one goal. What a fantastic achievement by all of our teams! We are incredibly proud of the sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment and effort shown by our students throughout the season. A very big thank you to all our coaches and team managers for the time, dedication and encouragement you have given our Sacred Heart netballers. Your support has helped our students develop their skills, confidence and love of the game.
