Year 6 Wellbeing Day

Well done to our Year 6 teachers for providing a wonderful Wellbeing Day for our Year 6 students on Thursday 13th August. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to develop important social and emotional skills in a fun and engaging environment. Throughout the day, students participated in a range of interactive sessions focused on teamwork, self-regulation, and understanding Above and Below the Line behaviors. These activities were designed to strengthen resilience, encourage positive decision-making, build respectful relationships, and equip students with strategies they can use both in the classroom and beyond. Thank you to our Year 6 teachers for creating such a valuable and engaging day for our students. We hope everyone had a fantastic time!

Barwon Water Incursion

This Friday, our Year 2 students will enjoy an engaging and interactive Barwon Water Incursion, learning about the importance of water and how we can help protect this precious resource. The Barwon Water educator will explore where our drinking water comes from, the journey water takes through the water cycle, and how water and wastewater are treated. Students will also discover practical ways to conserve water at home and at school, including taking shorter showers and turning off taps when they are not in use. It will be a wonderful opportunity for our students to build their water knowledge and develop a greater understanding of the importance of using water wisely.
