Congratulations to our recent “Artwork of the Month” winners.
Artie Corbett in Year 10 has received the May award for his circular mixed media artwork based on a “Tiny Planet” photograph of the natural and built environment.

We also congratulate Tom Martin in Year 8 for his Japanese inspired ceramic cultural mask and pencil drawing.

In Week 4, all Year 10, 11 and 12 Drama and Drama in Practice students attended a live performance by Red Leap Theatre, at Queensland Performing Arts Complex, to view, “Dakota of the White Flats” an adaptation of the award-winning novel by Philip Ridley. Experiencing live performance enables Drama students to develop their understanding of performance techniques and audience engagement.
On Monday 8 June (Week 8), the Arts faculty will be presenting a selection of music and drama performances, video screenings and an exhibition of artworks straight from our classrooms to showcase the work of our talented Years 7–10 Music, Drama, Media and Visual Art students. The evening will take place in the Draney Theatre from 6:00pm and all students, families and friends are welcome. Entry is free and light refreshments will be served in the Draney Theatre foyer, prior to moving into the theatre at 6:30pm.
