Hi parents, and carers, our next P&F meeting is coming up soon. This year’s committee is looking forward to a strong turnout and building excitement for upcoming events, including the Walkathon.

Please see below notice of meeting.

Notice of Meeting

NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING of the Marist College Ashgrove Parents and Friends Association

MONDAY 20 July 2026 at 6:00pm

Location: The Tower Building

Requests for agenda items can be sent to the P&F Secretary. We ask if these can be submitted by Monday 6 July 2026 to allow for adequate preparation.

We appreciate that Monday evenings are often busy; however, attendance at previous meetings has been lower than hoped.

Getting involved with P&F is a wonderful way to foster strong connections with your Marist family across your journey at the College. Our Association enjoys stability through the generosity of many capable hands, carrying jobs of all shapes and sizes. We are sure you would enjoy volunteering through our various activities and sub-committees that all help to make our Marist family the special community that it is.

Sports Canteens 30 May 2026

Wow, what an excellent day and turnout for the St Laurence’s round. It was so busy that we ran out of burgers by 2:00pm and chips around the time of the Firsts kick-off. A big thank you to all our volunteers. I even met one of our Year 12 parents from Townsville lending a much-needed helping hand. That’s dedication, and it was greatly appreciated.

A quick reminder that this week the Senior School is away at St Edmund’s, however the following two weeks, Round 6 (Villanova) and Round 7 (Padua), are home rounds and likely to be just as busy as the Laurie’s round. Please remember that the sports canteens can only operate when parents volunteer their time. Even one hour makes a real difference, so please mark 6 and 13 June 2026 in your calendars and lend us a helping hand.

This Saturday, games will be played at the Flats between 8:00am and midday. If we have enough volunteers, we can open the Flats canteen and make sure those parents in need of a morning coffee are well catered for. If you will be there supporting your son and can lend a hand, please sign up using the link below.

Don’t forget: students can also volunteer in the sports canteens under the Mates program.

Years 11 and 12 students can sign up and serve without a parent or guardian.

  • Years 5 to 10 students can sign up and serve alongside a parent or guardian.
  • Counter service only; no grills or deep fryers.
  • Students need to be in uniform.
  • At the end of the shift, students need to register their time using the QR code available in each canteen. If a student does not have a phone, another volunteer or a member of the canteen staff can access the form for them.

Flats (open while games are playing at Flats and Cameron for as long as volunteers are available)
