Year 7 Immunisations

Ozcare will be visiting the Year 7 students who are due to receive their immunisations on the 1 June 2026.

The immunisations include Diptheria-Tetanus-Pertussis and Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

In order to streamline the consent process, Vitavo have replaced the traditional paper consent card system with a user-friendly online link.

It is important to complete the link, even if you do not consent for the immunisation.

All Year levels Flu Vaccinations

Marist College is delighted to partner with Vaxicare this year to introduce a new opportunity for all students to be vaccinated against the Flu. Vaxicare is a trusted vaccination provider to over 400 schools throughout south east Qld and has been providing Flu vaccinations to our Staff and boarders for some time now. They have a team of nurturing and experienced nurses onboard to make the experience a pleasant one of all participants

WIN WIN for Students and the Marist Community

We recognise that time is precious for parents and family, and with this in mind we hope this initiative will take the burden off parents and families, as we know how busy family life can be and how disruptive a bout of the flu can be—not just for your son’s studies and sport, but for the entire household.

  • Ultimate Convenience: No more rushing to GP appointments or taking time off work. We are bringing the clinic to your son, saving you a trip and a spot in a busy waiting room.
  • Zero Cost: Through Vaxicare, this service is being provided at no cost for the clinic or the nursing staff.
  • A Healthier Campus: By vaccinating a large portion of our student body, we significantly reduce the "flu bugs" circulating in our classrooms and boarding houses.
  • Reduced Absenteeism: Our goal is to keep your son in the classroom and on the sports field, rather than sidelined by preventable illness.
  • A Familiar Environment: We find that students are much more relaxed receiving care in a familiar school setting with nurturing, professional nurses who specialize in gentle care.
