Senior Years Report 

Year 10

Year 10’s had an immersion day at Deakin Uni on the 2nd June. This is part of our pathway’s program to assist students in making the most informed choices about their individual pathways and for them to Realise their Potential. 

Year 10 Exams are coming up. Can we please ask families to support their children in preparing for these so they can apply their learning to the best of their ability.

Year 10 Exams will be held from 12th June – June 18th.

A reminder that we have Year 10 Work Experience in Week 10 of this Term. There will be no Year 10 classes running this week. If parents can please assist their children in finding a workplace and completing the paperwork. This is a pre – condition to enrol in the VCE VM space.

Year 11 & 12 VCE Scored and VCE VM

Students are working to complete all set coursework by the 18thJune. This is the date that we need to have this work completed by. As part of VASS (Victorian Assessment Software System) requirements we need to provide outcome to this authority. Thank you for your support with your kids in them achieving their outcomes.

Year 11 Exams for VCE Scored students only will commence on 5th June and continue until June 12th.

Year 12 VCE Scored Exams will be conducted in their relevant classes for this Semester.

Unit 2& 4 ( New Semester) will commence for all VCE Programs (Scored and Vocational Major) on June 15th.

Year 12 VM

Our Year 12 VM students recently took on the challenge of planning, organising and running their own teamwork activities as part of their Personal Development Skills program.

Working in small groups, students were responsible for designing an activity that encouraged communication, collaboration and problem-solving. There was a variety of activities on offer, including puzzles, outdoor games, quizzes and even a competitive game of silent ball. Each group was responsible for planning the activity, explaining the rules and facilitating participation from their classmates.

Students received feedback and reflected on what worked well and what they could improve as leaders and team members. There were plenty of laughs along the way and good feedback. 

It was great to see students stepping outside their comfort zones, supporting one another and developing valuable teamwork skills that will benefit them in both the workplace and everyday life.
