Year 7 Zoo excursion

The trip to Melbourne Zoo was such a banger! The day started off cold, but as we neared the zoo, the sun came out and began to shine. I loved watching everyone in my group look and take photos of the animals; it was clear everyone was enjoying themselves, and so was I. My highlight was seeing the baby Meerkats scurrying around – as we all watched them, one was standing on top of the mound posing like the king. I was so excited when we saw the 4 snow leopard cubs! There were 2 boys and 2 girls and when we saw them, they were either waking up from their nap, or still fast asleep. During our trip, our group had lots of fun in the workshop doing different challenges and learning new things about the different animals of the zoo. At the end of the trip, everyone was tired but still excited from the trip it was so much fun and a great experience for everyone.
