Report

Welcome back everyone to the beautiful Autumn weather.  They are predicting rain on the weekend and for everyone’s benefit I hope it comes.

Uniform

Hats – our school hat is not compulsory during break times for Terms 2 and 3 but we strongly encourage our students to keep wearing them

Shorts – as from the start of this term shorts must be around mid thigh – this is in line with our sun smart policy. Please make sure they are navy blue.

SWPBS

One of our most important expected behaviours is ‘I will use manners and kind words’. Words can be hurtful and the impact of them can be everlasting. Just recently I have had a run of referrals (students removed form class) where they have chosen not to be kind. Please work with your child and encourage that the only words we need to hear are kind words and to always display good manners.

Buses

Never before have I seen 5 new buses at Wedderburn College.  This will assist in the safe travel of all students to and from school – when you are on a school bus you must wear a seatbelt.  On another note, can you please ensure you contact the school if your child is not travelling on the school bus.
