A Fresh Start for Learn to Swim at All Saints’ College

Our Learn to Swim program is entering an exciting new chapter, with a refreshed team, updated curriculum and a renewed focus on delivering a high-quality experience for every swimmer.

Over the coming terms, families will begin to see a series of positive changes designed to strengthen the program and improve how we support students in the water. Term 2 marks the first step in this transition.

 

What’s changing

  • A new approach to enrolments: Families will now be able to select and book their preferred class time, with payment at the time of booking. This ensures greater flexibility and equal access to available classes.
  • Improved systems and communication: Our iClassPro platform will continue to be used, with enhancements over time to make booking, communication and program information clearer and easier to access.
  • Curriculum alignment: The program is being updated in line with Royal Life Saving WA, bringing our teaching approach in step with recognised best practice in aquatic education.

  • New pathways for swimmers

    Two new programs will launch in Term 2:

    • Junior Lifeguard Club, focused on water safety, rescue skills and leadership development
    • Teen Swim Lessons, designed specifically for older beginners or those looking to build confidence and technique
  • Timetable and class structure review: Adjustments to pool use and class groupings will support more focused teaching and better progression for each swimmer.

These changes reflect a broader reset of the program. With a new team in place and a clear direction forward, we are focused on building a strong, consistent experience that will continue to improve over time.

 

For families not currently involved in Learn to Swim, this is an ideal time to take another look at the program as it evolves.

 

Further information, including enrolment details and updated Terms and Conditions, will be shared ahead of Term 2.
