Important Announcements

Winter Uniform Update
As we look ahead to Term 2, we would like to let families know that our Winter Uniform infographic has been revised and is included in this Courier for your reference.
We encourage all parents and caregivers to use the upcoming holiday break to complete a uniform stock take, check sizing, and visit our Uniform Shop if any items need replacing. This helps ensure a smooth transition into the cooler months.
Please note that there will be a two week grace period at the start of Term 2 to allow time for any final adjustments.
Thank you for your ongoing support in ensuring our students wear the correct uniform and wear it well. Your partnership makes a significant difference in helping our students present themselves with pride.

Friendship and Social Support
Strong, healthy friendships are one of the best protective factors against bullying and social difficulties in high school. Young people who feel connected and supported are more confident, more resilient, and less likely to be targeted by peers.
Children and teens who have several positive friendships, not just one, tend to cope better socially. Those who engage in bullying often avoid targeting students who have assertive, socially confident, or supportive friends.
How Families Can Help Their Teen Build and Maintain Friendships
Create opportunities for genuine social interaction
- Encourage your teen to spend time with peers at school, at home and in the community.
- Support them to invite friends over, meet at local parks or organise simple catch-ups.
Model and encourage positive communication
- Encourage your teen to regularly connect with extended family (grandparents, cousins, aunties/uncles) and trusted adults.
- These relationships help young people practise conversation skills, emotional expression and confidence in mixed age interactions.
Help them expand their social circles
- Invite their friends into your home and model how to be a welcoming, inclusive host.
- Encourage involvement in hobbies, sports, and interest-based groups such as our cocurricular program. Interests create natural, low-pressure ways to connect with likeminded peers.
Encourage real-world experiences
- Holidays, camps, and community events expose teens to new people and broaden their social comfort zone.
- Even short family trips or school holiday programs can provide valuable social practice.

Invitation to ANZAC Commemoration Service
The President and members of the Applecross RSL Sub-Branch cordially invite the students, parents and staff of All Saints’, to attend an ANZAC Commemoration Service at 10.30am on Sunday, 19 April 2026, at the City Memorial, Wireless Hill Park, Ardross. The Service will be preceded by a short march of veterans and youth organizations, who will assemble at the start of the driveway to the memorial at 10.15am. Students who would like to represent our College are welcome to march and, particularly, to lay a wreath or flowers at the Service. The Melville City Council provides refreshments at the conclusion of the Service.
To assist with the planning of the Commemoration, it would be appreciated if you could advise Jeanette Sealy by 2 April whether you wish to attend the event or lay a floral tribute.
A Dawn Service and Gunfire Breakfast on Anzac Day, Friday 25 April, 6am at the RSL Hall, 98 Kintail Rd, Applecross will also take place. All welcome.
LEGO Donations Needed for Year 7 InnovatED
Next term, our Year 7 InnovatED students will take part in a hands‑on learning program that uses LEGO® as a creative tool to explore design thinking, problem‑solving and storytelling.
To support this program, we are seeking donations of LEGO for use in the classroom.
This initiative also has a strong sustainability focus. If your children have LEGO they no longer play with, donating it is a great way to reuse existing materials, reduce waste and support meaningful learning. Those bricks will be put to good use as students design, build and refine their ideas.
We welcome loose bricks, mini‑figures, base plates and LEGO from any theme or era. Pieces do not need to be sorted or part of a set.
All donated LEGO will support our Year 7 students in this program and future design‑based learning projects.
If you’re able to help or would like more information, please contact:
Mr Steven Scotti - Director of the Design Hub
Thank you for supporting creativity, learning and sustainability in our community.
