JERSEY UPDATE
Students who receive a jersey for any upcoming trial, gala day or interschool sport will be recorded as proof of this borrowing method. This will allow our school to continue to use these jerseys and have enough for all students to wear and represent our school proudly at the many sporting events we provide to all students. Once jerseys are washed and returned to the school office, our staff will mark that the jersey have been returned. Any jerseys not returned will incur replacement fee.
Please check the wardrobes at home and return any jerseys of any style (singlet, soccer jersey or footy jersey) which belongs to the school. Thank you for the cooperation with this matter.
Interschool Sport
Our Year 3 students recently took part in an energetic and fun‑filled Oztag Gala Day, joining neighbouring schools for a day of teamwork, skill‑building and friendly competition. Students showcased their developing tagging and passing skills while demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and encouragement toward one another. Take a look at some of the action from the day!
Please ensure you provide permission for your child to attend their next interschool sporting opportunity event. There have been many rescheduled dates due to the wet weather. Below is an outline of all interschool sport across all grades for 2026.
Trials have now been completed for all Interschool Stage 3 teams. Below was the document with all information on the trial structure for 2026.
Representative Trials
Noah O and Rocco VW have represented our school at the MacKillop Cross Country Trials on Wednesday held at the Sydney Equestrian Centre.
On Tue 4th August we have 35 students representing our school at the Conference 3 Athletics Trials. Details for this event have been shared on COMPASS along with a paper version clarifying which events your child has been entered for. Please ensure you have provided permission for your child to attend this event.
SUTHERLAND BASKETBALL GALA DAY
The term 3 dates for the girls basketball gala days have now closed. Those who nominated will receive all details through COMPASS for these upcoming dates next term.
The Stage 2 boys had a fantastic gala day last Monday. All boys were exceptionally behaved and represented our school proudly. They enjoyed the day with their friends while displaying teamwork, creativity on the court and showing improvements after each game.
