Grade 2/3/4

It has been a wonderful start to Term 3 in Year 2/3/4! We have all enjoyed settling back into our school routines, and the students loved reconnecting with their friends.

We have an action-packed term of learning ahead. 

In English, we are diving into persuasive writing, with students exploring the big question: "How can I write to influence the reader and share my opinion?" We are also reading "The One and Only Ivan" by Katherine Applegate. 

In Mathematics, we are starting with measurement and will be engaging in lots of hands-on activities to bring our learning to life.

In Religion, we are exploring our individual gifts that God has given us and how we can use our gifts to help people less fortunate than us and participate in our community.

In Inquiry, the students are delving into design, specifically what inspires design and innovation, how we can use design to solve a problem, and how sustainability fits into the design and innovation domain.
