Commissioning Assembly
Our PVCC Secondary College recently came together for a special commissioning assembly, celebrating a group of Year 10 students heading off on mission trips to Thailand and Vanuatu as well as Year 10's heading to do work experience and Year 9s stepping into the Student Community Involvement Program (SCIP). The assembly was a meaningful occasion, bringing together students, staff, and families to celebrate and support those stepping out in faith and service.
The assembly was an opportunity to recognise not only the students stepping out in faith, but also the parents who have supported and encouraged them along the way. Together, they are taking our college values beyond the classroom and into the community, both global and local.
Through prayer, worship music and reflection, we commissioned the team and sent them out with encouragement to serve with compassion, humility, and faith. As they travel overseas and locally, they will be sharing the gospel, building relationships, and representing our college in a meaningful way.
There was a strong sense of excitement as we listened to words of encouragement from past students, who highlighted the lasting impact this experience can have, both on the communities being served and on the students themselves.
We are so thankful for these students and for the way they are choosing to honour God in their actions. We look forward to hearing all about their experiences when they return.
Enrolments for 2028
Families needing to apply for a child commencing in 2028 are reminded to submit an application by 31 July 2026 via the College website to avoid missing out on a place.
No application is required if your child is already attending, has already applied, or has accepted a place.
Current primary students (including Year 6) do not need to apply for Year 7, and children at Plenty Kids Early Learning Centre do not need to apply for Prep.
