Late Arrivals

Please continue to notify the office via email at office@pvcc.vic.edu.au and include the homegroup teacher if your child is going to be late.

Any student late for school must sign in on the iPads at either the Early Years Reception or General Office.

Collecting your child early

If parents/carers need to take children out of college during the day for medical, dental or other family reasons, the following procedure should be followed to ensure good communication and safety of the child:

  1. An email should be sent to the classroom/home group teacher, copying in the reception team (office@pvcc.vic.edu.au) indicating the time the parent/carer wishes to pick up the child and the reason for the early departure. Without this formal communication, the child will not be allowed to leave the classroom.
  2.  If an adult other than the parent/carer is to pick up the child, this should also be clearly indicated. Proof of identity will be required in these circumstances.
  3. The adult collecting the child should report to the general office (for junior, middle and senior years students) or reception (for early years students). Parents/carers cannot go to the classroom.

Any student leaving the college during the day, regardless of their age or the reason must be signed out, using the iPads at the general office or reception Parents/Carers must sign the exit slip before the student can leave the school grounds.

Students who wish to leave because they are ill must ask the office staff or college nurse to contact their parents/carers on their behalf. Students may not call home and arrange to be collected without the assistance of college staff.

Please refer to the Parent Handbook for full details.
