Time and Space - Youth Art Exhibition 2025
Glen Eira Youth Services is pleased to announce the return of the Youth Art Exhibition 2025, hosted by our Green Gecko Productions Team.
The Youth Art Exhibition will be accepting submissions from Monday 2 June through to Friday 15 August. Submissions can be submitted at www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/yae.
This year’s theme is ‘Time and Space’ and looks to promote and encourage young people's creativity and passion for art. We are also looking for a diverse range of artworks such as 3D pieces or sculptures, digital artworks, paintings, drawing or photography just to name some. The Exhibition is available to those between 5 to 25 years with a connection to Glen Eira (live, work, study) and offers prizes to winners from the following categories:
Junior:
5-9 years – with a prize to the value of $100.00
10-13 years – with a prize to the value of $150.00
Senior:
14-17 years – with a prize to the value of $250.00
18-25 years – with a prize to the value of $300.00 + opportunity for Solo Exhibition in Gallery Two 2026
People’s Choice Award:
Prize to the value of $150
The Exhibition will be at the Glen Eira Town Hall Gallery between Thursday 28 September – Sunday 28 September. Winners will be announced at the presentation night, 6pm-7:30pm on Thursday 4 September.
Storytelling Festival
The Glen Eira Storytelling Festival celebrates storytelling in all its forms.
Each year, the Glen Eira Storytelling Festival brings our community together with a series of events and programs for all ages and interests.
It returns in 2025 from Saturday 21 June to Saturday 12 July.
From music and performance, play and puppetry — to poetry, author talks and engaging discussions — the Festival is a celebration of storytelling in all its forms.
