Henry was recently chosen as vice-captain for the 15&U boys’ team and competed in a national state-level water polo competition in Canberra during the school holidays.

Due to his strong performance throughout the competition, Henry was recognised by scouts and selected to represent South Australia in the Australian Squad. He has also been invited to attend a development camp in Melbourne in November to further hone his skills.

Congratulations, Henry! What an outstanding achievement. This recognition and selection are a true testament to your hard work and dedication.

Old Scholar Spotlight:

Jack Pearse to Represent Australia at World Championships

It is with great pleasure that we announce Class of 2020 old scholar, Jack Pearse, will represent Australia at the upcoming Beach Volleyball World Championships, to be held at Memorial Drive in Adelaide this November.

Since graduating from Endeavour, Jack has been training full-time at SASI (South Australian Sports Institute) and competing internationally on the Beach Pro Tour. He was part of the Australian squad that helped secure Olympic qualification for Paris 2024, and last year, he and his partner, Heathfield graduate D’Artagnan Potts, claimed the Asian Championships title.

The World Championships feature the top 48 teams in the world and are held every two years. Remarkably, this is only the second time the event has been hosted outside the Northern Hemisphere, a special moment for Australian volleyball fans.

Jack fondly recalls his time representing Endeavour at SACSA carnivals and knockout events, and he’s thrilled for the opportunity to play on home soil in front of friends and family.

Jack’s first match will be held on Friday, November 14, with subsequent games on Saturday 15 and Monday 17 November.
