Mindfulness Meditation: Resting in God’s Presence 

 

Breathe - Close your eyes. Take a slow breath in … and a gentle breath out. As you breathe, imagine you are breathing in God’s love and peace. 

Scripture - Listen to these words from the Psalms: “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) 

Rest - Notice how your body feels calm and still. Imagine Jesus sitting with you. You don’t need to say anything—just enjoy being in His presence. 

Gratitude - Think of one blessing in your day—something big or small—that you are thankful to God for. Hold it in your heart. 

Closing Prayer - Pray together: “Loving God, thank You for being with us in every moment. Help us to find Your peace in the busyness of our lives. Amen.”
