This year’s ASHEFest Buroinjin Challenge saw 2 out of 3 GSSC teams make it to the grand final, with our Division 1 (Year 11 & Year 12) team going undefeated all day!

It was fantastic to see students showing respect, joy, and teamwork while taking part in the traditional Aboriginal game of Buroinjin.

A big thank you to the Ngarri Ngarri team – Leanne, Shadelle, Tristan and Brad – along with Chris Harris and Kin Hei Wong for their support and organisation, and to Ashe Shepparton and the Rumbalara Football Netball Club for once again hosting this deadly event, it’s always such a great day! 🙌
