'Together Everyone Achieves More'

Thank You, Cowwarr Community!

We want to begin by saying a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful school community. The past few weeks have been a little tricky with illness moving through students, staff, and families, but together we’ve managed by taking care of one another and sticking to the important message: “If you’re not well, please stay home.” Your support and care have made a big difference.

As we head into the final week of Term 2, there’s still plenty of excitement ahead!

Tuesday 16th September: Our whole school will be heading to Airly Primary School to join other schools for a Cyber Safety Day, learning how we can all be smart and safe online.

🎳 Wednesday 17th September: We’ll wrap up our Sporting Schools program with an afternoon of 10 Pin Bowling at Wyncity—a fun way to celebrate everyone’s efforts this term!

Friday 19th September: To finish the term with some colour and fun, students and staff are invited to come dressed in their favourite sports colours. We’ll enjoy a hotdog lunch together before finishing the school day at 2:00pm.

Term 4 – Annie the Musical 🎶✨

What an exciting way to begin Term 4! In the very first week back, our students will be heading to Melbourne’s Princess Theatre to experience the magic of live performance as they watch Annie the Musical.

This special excursion has been made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of the Heyfield Lions Club, who kindly donated funds to cover the cost of transport. The Cowwarr team and students are truly grateful for your support. It means so much to give our kids this unforgettable opportunity.

Holiday Adventures 🌴🚢

In the middle of this term, I was very lucky to spend some special time with my family in a slightly different way with a cruise ship holiday! It was such a wonderful experience, travelling through the beautiful South Pacific Islands. We explored Lifou Island, Mystery Island, and Noumea in New Caledonia, each with its own stunning scenery and culture.

It was such a refreshing way to spend time together, and I feel very grateful for the memories we made as a family. I am also very grateful to the TEAM for allowing me the time and opportunity to step away from school and enjoy this 8 day getaway.

With the school holidays just around the corner, I hope everyone enjoys the chance to relax, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy a little fun along the way. Most importantly, please stay safe!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for an exciting Term 4.
