What is CSEF Funding?

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities such as swimming and school-organised sport programs, outdoor education programs, excursions and incursions.

Are you eligible for CSEF (Camps, School, Excursion Fund)

– to be eligible for CSEF funding you must fit Criteria 1 AND Criteria 2

Criteria 1 - Eligibility

To be eligible* for the fund, a parent or legal guardian of a student attending a registered Government or non-government Victorian primary or secondary school must:

hold a valid Victorian Health Care Card in your name with your child's name on it you may be entitled to CSEF – (Camps, School, Excursion Fund). CSEF is funding that comes to the school for your child for Camps, Excursions and Sporting Activities. (See sample of card below)

OR

You are a registered Foster Parent of a student attending a registered Government or non-government Victorian primary or secondary

OR

Your child is 16 years or older and holds their own valid Disability Support Pension card and attends a registered Government or non-government Victorian primary or secondary school. (See sample of card below)

Criteria 2 - Be of school age and attend school in Victoria

School is compulsory for all Victorian children aged between 6 and 17 years of age inclusive.
For the purposes of CSEF, students may be eligible for assistance if they attend a Victorian registered primary or secondary school. Typically, these students are aged between 5 and 18 years inclusive.

The funding for a Primary aged student is $150 and for Secondary aged students is $250.

If you are eligible or have any queries, please contact the school 9859 8762 as completed form must be returned by 30th June 2025 to be processed before the close off date.
