North Side Hu$tle Gig – 21 March
Get your dancing shoes and a bunch of friends – FPS’s parent band North Side Hu$tle is ready to draw a crowd!

Past-Pupil Fundraiser – Starlight Children’s Foundation
Lucien W (from Year 6 last year) is planning to swim 50km to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill children and young people by providing, in-hospital, and community-based support.
Village Power Community Art Project
Opportunity for Local Artists
Local artists and creatives are invited to submit artwork concepts for a new community art installation in Alphington. A neighbourhood battery will be installed near the entrance to the Melbourne Farmers’ Market, and a commissioned artwork will be used to wrap the battery, transforming essential energy infrastructure into a visible community asset!
The opportunity is open to local artists, with a $5,000 commission awarded to the selected design. Four artists will be shortlisted, with one chosen to develop the final artwork.

Saver Plus Back to School Campaign
Saver Plus is a well-established program funded by the Department of Social Services that helps eligible families build savings specifically for education expenses.
Families can save up to $500, which is matched dollar-for-dollar, giving up to $1,000 to spend on approved school-related costs such as uniforms, books, laptops, excursions, and other learning essentials. Alongside the financial benefit, families also gain practical saving skills that continue to support them well beyond the school year.

Lend A Paw Fete – Melbourne Girls’ College
Melbourne Girls’ College invites all families to their Lend A Paw Fete.
This student-led fete aims to promote awareness and funds for the RSPCA. There will be a variety of activities on the day, including dog wash, raffle prizes, entertainment and many more exciting activities for families to enjoy.
