Sport around the grounds

Thursday Rep Sport 

Season 1 is now underway, however, unfortunately, due to the rain, our oztag, volleyball and cricket teams have not played the last two weeks. Basketball has continued, and our junior and inter teams have played some exceptional games. Draws are now live on PDSSSC website and results are up to date if you would like to follow our teams. 

Another reminder, if your child still has a rep sport uniform from last year, can you please ensure this is returned to the school office as soon as possible. Thank you. 

Primary Blacktown Zone Swimming Carnival, Parramatta Diocesan Primary Swimming Carnival and PDSSSC Swimming Carnival 

Congratulations to James, Leonie, Hukamveer, and Matteo, who qualified and participated in the Blacktown Zone Swimming Carnival. All four students swam exceptionally well and were extremely competitive against all other schools within our zone of Blacktown. 

A special congratulations to Leonie, Hukamveer and Matteo who qualified to represent St Luke’s at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival and to Leonie for being awarded Runner Up Age Champion for the Junior Girls division. 

The PDSSSC Swimming Carnival is set to take place on 24/3/26. Permission forms will be sent soon via Compass to the students who have qualified for this event. 

St Luke’s Cross Country Trials 

It was truly wonderful to see so many of our students stepping up to challenge themselves at the school cross country trials! The determination, resilience, and positive spirit on display were inspiring.

Students who qualify for the primary or secondary Diocesan event will be notified soon. The Diocesan event is scheduled to take place early next term. 

St Luke’s Athletics Carnival Year 7 - Year 12 - 24/3/26 

The Year 7 - Year 12 Athletics Carnival will take place on Tuesday, 24/3/26. Information and permission forms have been sent to all students and parents/carers via Compass. Permission forms are due by 16/3/26. Unfortunately, no late permission forms will be accepted, as final planning and bookings will need to be completed by this date. Please note this is a compulsory event and there will be no supervision at school for Year 7 - Year 12 students on this day. 

If your child wishes to participate in any competitive events on the day, please remind them to complete the Google Form shared via Compass, available under ‘News’.
