District Swimming Carnival 

On Monday March 2nd, 18 students represented Peakhurst Public School at the Georges River Swimming Carnival. The students all did an outstanding job and made our school proud. Congratulations to:

• Zion Lokeni 
  • 3rd place for 50m freestyle
• Wyatt Lee
  • 2nd place for 200m IM
• Ava Fung-Ahn 
  • 1st place for 50m freestyle
  • 1st place for 50 backstroke 
  • 1st place for 50m butterfly
  • 2nd place for 50m breaststroke 
  • 2nd place for 200m IM 
  • 3rd place for 100m freestyle 

A special congratulations to Ava who was awarded Swimming Champion for the 11 year old girls.  

Ava and Zion have both qualified to represent the Georges River district at the regional carnival on Monday March 9th. We wish them both all the best.
