Principal's message

Thank You for a Wonderful Meet the Staff Event

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents and carers who attended our recent Meet the Staff event. Your engagement and enthusiasm in connecting with our teachers and staff members is greatly appreciated. It was wonderful to see so many families taking the time to learn more about our school structures, as well as the exciting initiatives and expectations we have planned for 2026.

The PowerPoint presentation can be accessed by families through the Sentral Parent Portal News Feed.

A special thank you also goes to the Year 6 parents and caregivers who participated in the Year 6 to Year 7 transition session. We appreciate your involvement and the opportunity to hear from Mrs Partridge, our Year 6 teachers, and Mrs Diane Wilson, Principal of Georges River College Peakhurst. Your support helps ensure a smooth and positive transition for our students as they move into their next stage of learning.

School Bell System

We wish to inform you that the recent storm has caused damage to our school bell system, and it is currently not operational. We understand the importance of the bell for the smooth running of the school day and are working promptly to resolve this issue.

At present, the school is in the process of obtaining quotes to replace the damaged system with a new one. We appreciate your patience and understanding while these arrangements are being made.

We will keep you updated on the progress and thank you for your continued support.

Parking Around the School

As part of our ongoing commitment to student safety, we kindly remind everyone to park legally and considerately when dropping off or picking up children around the school. Please avoid parking in or across driveways to ensure clear access for residents and emergency vehicles.

Please be aware that the local council regularly conducts ranger inspections in our area, and fines are issued for illegal parking. We ask that all families comply with parking regulations to avoid penalties and, most importantly, to ensure the safety of our students.

Additionally, for the safety of all our students, please do not call or encourage children to cross the road between parked cars. We strongly encourage the use of designated pedestrian crossings to keep our children safe when crossing streets near the school.

Concerns or Issues

At our school, the safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority. We kindly remind all parents and caregivers that if you have any concerns or issues related to your child or their experience at school, please report these directly to your child’s classroom teacher or contact the school office.

For the safety and comfort of all students, we ask that adults do not approach or speak to other children in the playground or during school hours. Our school environment must remain a safe, respectful, and supportive space where all students feel secure.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a positive and safe learning environment for everyone.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or the office.
