Middle School Assembly

On Wednesday 20th March Years 7, 8 and 9 came together in the Gym to take part in the first Middle School assembly for 2024. 

As usual, the Middle School Captains Will Fleming, Zoe McPherson, Nathan Krummel, Jamie Thai-Chan and Ava Wilson planned and ran the assembly. The planning in the weeks leading up the assembly enabled them to provide an outstanding event to the 690+ strong audience.

At Mordialloc College we have three categories of awards:

LEARNING LEGEND: This is an award given for a student who has achieved outstanding results academically 

EXCELLENT ENDEAVOUR: This award is for a student who may not achieve outstanding results compared to others, but always tries their hardest and is achieving their personal best.

ALL ROUNDER: This award is for students who have been perfect in class all term. They have been achieving outstanding results, have a great attitude towards learning and always try their best in their classes.

We had 174 individual students nominated to receive a total of 209 certificates for Term 1. The following students were nominated for at least one award. Students who were nominated for more than one award were presented with their awards during the assembly. All students who were nominated for one award will be handed their certificates in upcoming Year level assemblies.

Congratulations to all award winners, it was great to see so many students acknowledged for their hard work and achievement throughout the Term. I look forward to seeing even more students receiving certificates in appreciation of their effort and achievements in Term 2.
