Grandparents' & Special Friends' Day – A Heart-warming Celebration

What a truly special day we had celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends Day at our school! The day began with a beautiful and reverent celebration at church, honouring Saints Anne and Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus. It was a touching reminder of the important role grandparents play in our lives.

Back at school, guests were warmly welcomed into the hall for a cuppa and morning tea while being serenaded by our talented school choir. Their beautiful voices filled the room and set the perfect tone for the morning.

Following morning tea, our visitors were invited into classrooms where students shared a trip down memory lane — exploring what school was like in the past and comparing it to today’s experiences. The joy and stories shared between generations made for some unforgettable moments.

The day concluded with laughter and excitement during a fun game of bingo – a perfect way to end such a joyful celebration.
