Child Safety

2SH Students Take Action to Improve Learning Time

At our school, we love when students take initiative—and that’s exactly what the clever and caring students of 2SH have done!

Recently, the class noticed that there was quite a bit of noise and running outside their classroom during learning time, which made it difficult to concentrate. Instead of complaining, they got to work on a solution. The students decided to create colourful, eye-catching posters to hang outside their classroom as a friendly reminder for others to walk quietly and respectfully through the school.

Their efforts have already made a noticeable difference! Students are now walking calmly and using quieter voices in the corridors, helping to maintain a peaceful learning environment for everyone.

Well done, 2SH! Your leadership and problem-solving skills are a wonderful example for our whole school community.

Carpark Safety: Ongoing Reminder

Driveway and Parking Reminders

Just a friendly reminder that Resurrection School and Parish has three driveways. For safety and traffic flow:

  • Entry 1 and Entry 2 may be used between 9:00am – 3:00pm and after 4:00pm.
  • Entry 3 is not to be used at any time.
  • Please note: Entry 1 and Entry 2 are not to be used for school drop-off or pick-up.

Using the incorrect driveway or carpark is creating a safety risk for our students and must not continue.

The safest place to park is in the designated area next to the oval off Loxwood Avenue.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.

Child Friendly Version of Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct

This term we will be working with our student leaders and guiding them through our Child Safe Policy. We make sure children and young people are empowered about their rights, participate in decisions affecting them and are taken seriously in all child safety matters.
