Year 7 Girls Soccer - STATE CHAMPIONS! 🎉

The State Finals for Year 7 Girls Soccer were held on Wednesday September 11 at Darebin International Sports Centre. Our team was primed for the big occasion and went through undefeated again in the pool rounds to make it through to the State Grand Final! 

We were scheduled to play against Western Heights from Geelong. 

The weather then intervened with heavy rain and persistent lightning, causing the Grand Final to be called off due to the rules around safety. The two Grand Final teams were then declared as deserving shared State Champions! A historic achievement for our school. 

Congratulations to Mr Nasser and the amazing group of students that combined to make up the Year 7 State Champions team!
