Welcome back to STMM! I hope you all had a great break and are ready for another amazing year together. In class, students have already celebrated St Brigid’s feast day and have shared with each other how they can let their light shine like St Brigid’s flame. 

 

St Brigid is a significant person for our school as she founded the Bridgidine Sisters, who came to Australia and built our school, St Margaret Mary’s. Our school values reflect the Bridgidine values of justice, stewardship, love, peace and inclusion. 

 

This year, we will be celebrating a special milestone as STMM turns 70! Stay tuned for more details about this celebration later in the year. 

 

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Roshan in Year 5 who was baptised over the school holidays. This is a very special milestone, and our school community is delighted to share in the joy of this important moment. We wish Roshan many blessings as he continuse their faith journey.

  • Ash Wednesday Liturgy - Wednesday Feb 18, 9am - Hosted by Year 5
  • St Patrick’s Day Prayer Assembly - Tuesday March 17 - Hosted by Year 4
  • Harmony Day - Friday 20th March 
  • Annunciation Prayer Assembly - 25th March - Hosted by Year 2
  • Holy Week Liturgy - Thursday 2nd April, 2pm - K-6. All class items will be performed on the one day

Thank you for the rest and relaxation we enjoyed over the summer.

Today, we pray for our children as they begin their new school year.

Bless them with joy at seeing friends, excitement at new experiences, and a love of learning.

Watch over all who learn, replacing fear with joy, anxiety with peace, and tiredness with energy.

Grant teachers wisdom, patience, and joy in serving their students.
