A reminder to students leaving school, that 2027 TAFE Applications open on the 3rd of September: SMTAFE

Reece Plumbing – School-Based Traineeship Opportunities:

Reece offers School-Based Traineeships for students aged 15+ who would like to gain workplace experience while completing school. Students can work part-time in a Reece branch, earn an income and work towards a nationally recognised Certificate II qualification. Opportunities may be available in Plumbing/Supply Chain Operations and Retail Services. Students interested in future Reece opportunities are encouraged to speak with Mrs Nicholls.

School-Based Education Support:

Our Year 11 and 12 School-Based Education Support students are wrapping up their workplace placements across a range of local primary schools. 

These placements have provided a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable, hands-on industry experience while developing their confidence and skills in a real school environment.

For many students, this experience can also lead to future employment opportunities while they continue their studies at university or pursue further training in education and related fields.

Well done to all students involved for representing the school so positively and making the most of this valuable learning experience.
