From the Principal

This year's Lumen Day was a valuable time for our College community to come together, celebrate our shared history, and raise funds for Catholic Mission, St Vincent de Paul and LifeLink.

The day began with Mass, celebrated by Fr Brennan, providing an opportunity to reflect on our journey as a faith-filled learning community and give thanks for the history, growth and service that have made Lumen Christi College such an important part of our community.

Following Mass, the College came alive with a range of student-run stalls and activities. It was a pleasure to catch up with students and staff and to witness the enthusiasm and creativity on display. I also had the dubious honour of being slimed, with students donating money for the chance to slime staff members. I can't say it was enjoyable, but it was certainly memorable!

The Principal's Cup soccer match was another highlight, with the students claiming victory. They now lead the Staff vs Student competition 4-2, with two challenges still to come this year.

The celebrations concluded with a talent show featuring a wide variety of performances. The enthusiasm and courage of our performers made for a fantastic end to a day filled with community spirit and celebration.
