School Council

Dear Fellow Parents, 

As you are all aware, as of 2027 students will no longer be allowed to bring their iPad to school. As a school council we have been planning for this for some time. Your children may have told you that this year we purchased trolleys for each of the grade 3-6 classrooms to store iPads this year. Next year with student iPads being left at home, these same trolleys will be used to house school-owned devices for students. 

Having consulted widely, the devices the students will use from next year will be the Lenovo 500w 2-in-1 Gen 5 -12.2" Touch similar to the photo below. This device can be used as a laptop and it can also fold into a tablet. This will give students the best of both worlds

These devices will be purchased ready for the start of the school year. Different to the current BYOiD program they will be shared across the grades rather than one per child to ensure we stay within time restrictions set by the Department. 

Last fortnight, all families were sent the Parent Opinion Survey via XUNO.  This survey is a chance for all parents to have their voice heard in how the school is operating, what it is doing well, and what it can improve upon. 

To date, none of our families have completed the survey which is concerning. If you do get time can you please complete the survey and submit it as soon as possible.
