Writer’s Workshop: We are starting the term with a writing craft study – exploring how authors and illustrators make choices about the style, design and detail included in their books. This is linked with Book Week – A symphony of stories. We are hoping to publish these in time for Book Week in Week 6.
Reader’s Workshop: We will be participating in Reader’s Theatre in class. This aims to enhance our skills when reading aloud and invite elements of performance into our reading.
Mathematics: We will continue learning about division this week. Our primary focus is on exploring how we can share items equally into groups. We will be working with calendars and learning about how they work this week.
Unit of Inquiry: We will start our Who We Are unit of inquiry with a focus on Balanced Lifestyle.
