Year 7 Black Ranges Volleyball

On Friday 14 August, Year 7 boys and girls competed in the Black Ranges volleyball tournament at St Brigid's College. The girls played 3 games against Horsham College, Wimmera Lutheran College, and Marian College. The girls played with great spirit and teamwork, and despite not coming away with a win, they really enjoyed themselves and showed great sportsmanship. 

The boys played 3 games in their pool against Horsham College, Wimmera Lutheran College and Marian College. The boys played excellent volleyball and showed great teamwork and communication. The boys were very determined to win all games. They won all three games and progressed to the final against Horsham College 1. The boys won the final in an exciting game, with all boys contributing to the win. They will now progress to the Greater Western Region tournament. Congratulations! 

Year 8 Black Ranges Volleyball

Last week, our Year 8 boys and girls competed in the Black Ranges volleyball tournament at St Brigid's College. 

The girls played three games. They won their first game against Horsham College 2. They played a great team game and all contributed to the win. In the next two games they played Marian College and Lutheran College 1. Whilst they didn't come away with wins against these 2 teams, they showed great sportsmanship and communicated well with each other. The girls all said they had a great day and enjoyed themselves.

The boys played three games. They had 2 great wins in the first two games against Horsham College 2 and Lutheran College 1. They played some great volleyball and worked really well as a team. The boys had a narrow loss in their third game against Marian College. The boys narrowly missed out on playing in the grand final by percentage. They had a great day and represented the college well.

Senior Girls Netball School Championships

On Wednesday 19th August, Year 11 and 12 girls competed in the Senior Girls Netball School Championships in Hamilton. The girls played 5 games against other schools and came away with 3 great wins. The girls played with amazing teamwork and had a wonderful day representing our College. Well done!
