As we move through the second half of Term 3, I would like to thank our students, staff and families for their continued commitment to learning, attendance and participation in school life. It has been wonderful to see so many students engaging enthusiastically in both classroom and extracurricular opportunities.
School Opinion Surveys
Thank you to the parents, carers, staff and students who have taken the time to complete the annual School Opinion Survey. The feedback gathered through these surveys provides valuable insights into what our school is doing well and areas where we can continue to improve. Hearing the perspectives of our community helps shape future planning and ensures we remain focused on providing the best possible educational experience for every student.
If you have not yet completed your survey, I encourage you to do so before the closing date. Your voice matters, and we value your input as we work together to support student success.
Congratulations to Our Eisteddfod Participants
A huge congratulations to all students who recently represented our school at the local Eisteddfod. Performing in front of an audience takes courage, dedication and confidence, and our students should be extremely proud of their efforts.
Whether receiving a placing, commendation or simply stepping onto the stage for the first time, every participant demonstrated our school values and represented our community with pride. Thank you also to the staff, families and supporters who encouraged and assisted our students in preparing for their performances.
We are incredibly proud of the talent, perseverance and sportsmanship displayed throughout the event and look forward to seeing our students continue to develop their skills and confidence through the performing arts.
Book Week
Book Week kicks off next week, beginning with our fabulous Book Week Assembly on Monday!
At GSPS, developing READERS and a love of reading is our number one priority. Book Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate books, discover new stories and share the joy that reading can bring.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic week celebrating books, reading and favourite characters.

LOST PROPERTY
Our lost property collection is growing!
We currently have a large number of jumpers, drink bottles, lunch boxes and other belongings waiting to be claimed.
Please encourage your child to check the lost property and take home anything that belongs to them.
A reminder to clearly name your child’s belongings so we can easily return items to their owners.
Thank you for helping us reunite these items with their families!
