Year 10 News

Congratulations to all the Year 10 students who completed the two weeks of Work Experience. We have had a lot of great feedback from employers. We are all so proud of each of you and how you have conducted yourselves over the past few weeks. Many of the employers would be happy to have some of the students back in the future.
Camp
This year, our Year 10 students have the exciting opportunity to participate in a Tasmania Camp during the second last week of Term 3. The camp has generated significant interest, and all available places have now been filled.
Attendance
This year, we are placing a strong focus on improving student attendance rates, particularly in Year 10. We greatly appreciate parents and carers contacting the 24-Hour Attendance Line, (03) 5165 0600 - option 1, whenever their child is absent from school.
Prompt communication assists our Attendance Officer in accurately monitoring student attendance and helps ensure students are well supported in maintaining positive attendance habits throughout the year.
PBS
Students can receive a KPA SMS message sent to parents from teachers during each lesson to recognise positive behaviour and engagement. In addition, students are awarded postcards for consistently demonstrating the four school pillars: Excellence, Relationships, Work Ethic, and Engagement.
Throughout the year, students will also be recognised and rewarded for strong attendance, achieving LBU report scores of 3.5 or above, and demonstrating positive growth in their learning and development.
Reminders
- Students will require a device (please contact us if you need some support).
- Students need to be at school by 8:35 am.
- Students need to be in complete school uniform (please contact us if you need some support).
- NO MOBILES during school hours
