Creativity on Show

Have you seen the Numbat Class Display near the Front Office?

Every fortnight, a class will showcase the artwork they have been working hard on in class. We encourage families to stop by and admire the students’ creativity and effort.

This week, the Noombats explored composite shapes by investigating tangrams. They identified the individual shapes within a tangram and used them to create a variety of images, ensuring all pieces were used.

In Visual Arts, students explored perspective by creating tree artworks that looked upward toward the sky. The pieces were developed using oil pastels, blending greens with touches of yellow to create depth and tone.

Students also created walrus artworks focusing on shading techniques. They used watercolours to build solid outlines and blended inward to create light and dark areas, while the background was developed using smooth colour gradients with careful blending to avoid harsh lines.
