Principal's Report

Thank you to all families who joined us for the recent E‑Safe Kids parent workshop. Your engagement in learning about current online safety practices helps us work together to keep our children informed, confident, and protected in the digital space. It was encouraging to see so many parents committed to staying up to date with this important area of child wellbeing.
A warm thank you also goes to our dedicated P&F Association for coordinating last week’s Mother’s Day Stall and Breakfast. The morning had a wonderful community spirit, and it was a pleasure to work alongside parents in preparing and cooking breakfast for our mothers and carers. Events like these strengthen the connections that make Pioneer Village School such a supportive and welcoming community.
As part of our ongoing focus on community engagement, families will now see a fortnightly student work display showcased on the board outside the front office. Each class has been scheduled for the remainder of the year, and their work will also be highlighted in the newsletter so families can enjoy a window into the learning happening across the school.
Our student leaders continue to step confidently into their roles this year. They are now leading our Monday Values Assemblies, introducing the weekly value focus and role‑playing what that value looks like in action. Their leadership, teamwork, and growing independence have been a highlight of the term. Our Values Program continues to evolve, and I look forward to sharing further developments with you next semester.
Reminders
- As we move into formal uniform this term, please ensure students are wearing the required items each day.
- If you are remaining in the village after school, please actively supervise your children. We have received reports from neighbouring businesses regarding damage to property. Your support in supervising your children helps us maintain a safe, respectful, and well‑cared‑for environment for everyone.
