West Coast EaglesVisit

Last Monday the students were surprised with some special guests at our Values Assembly.  Rick the Rock Eagle and his helpers from the West Coast Eagles came to tell us a story which linked to our value of Kindness, talk about values that are important to them and even handed out prizes to a few lucky participants. 

After the assembly Rick enjoyed meeting some of the staff and students while his helpers headed to the Kookaburra Corner to read with some of our Littler Learners Reading program participants.   One book was a picture book about the Eagles football team and the other was a book by former AFL player Adam Goodes.  We hope that this special visit helped the students feel inspired to join the Premier’s Reading Challenge, which is running until the 12th of June.
