International Student Home Stay

WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HOSTING AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

When looking for a homestay family we ask ourselves whether the family has, or could have, each of the following criteria in place:-

• A furnished spare bedroom with a bed, wardrobe, desk and lamp (or alternative study space)
• Provide a welcoming and caring home away from home by including the student in the family’s commitments and social calendar
• Provide quality food and living standard, no extravagance required
• Encourage the student to immerse themselves in Australian culture and the English language, making networks to enhance the student's experience
• Ability to pass a Working With Children Check for all over 18’s in the house
• Provide the complete package for a weekly fee of approx $340 (personal expenses excluded)
• Is there a student that will fit with this family based on personal preferences, extracurricular activities and family composition?

Remember you don’t have to commit to a lifetime of provision and you can always change your mind as your circumstances change.
