70 YEAR JUBILEE 

1954 - 2024

Macleod High School

In 1954 the school was not completed for the start of the school year. Students travelled to Westgarth Central School, where staggered hours were organised.  Occupation of Macleod High School occurred on June 1 with an enrolment of 229 Form 1 students and 11 staff.

 

The school was officially opened by Dame Flora Macleod, 28th Chief of Clan Macleod, Dunvegan Castle, Isle of Skye on November 13 1954.

 

Macleod P - 12 College

In 1997 Macleod P - 12 College was formed by the joining of Macleod High School and Macleod Primary School. 

Macleod College (formerly Macleod High School) is celebrating its 70th Jubilee this year at the College on Friday 28 June  from 4.30pm - 7.30pm.

 

We hope that current and present students and staff will be able to join us to enjoy:-

  • Photos and memorabilia from 1954 to 2024 will be on display for you to reminisce.
  • Catch up with old friends and take the opportunity to have year photos taken.
  • BBQ and Cafe
  • College Tours
  • Music from the Macleod College Music Academy
  • College mementos on sale
